SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Chinese oil majors Sinopec and PetroChina have hiked their October jet kerosene prices by yuan (CNY) 391/tonne ($62/tonne) from September amid strengthening prices in the international markets, sources from the two companies said on Monday.

Effective from 1 October, Sinopec and PetroChina charge CNY7,923/tonne and CNY7,913/tonne ex-refinery respectively for jet kerosene supplying to China National Aviation Fuel (CNAF), the sole jet fuel supplier to airlines in China, according to the sources.

Under the existing pricing mechanism, jet fuel prices are adjusted on the first day of each month to reflect changes of the benchmarking mean prices in Singapore in the previous month.
