Polyplastics Taiwan plans POM turnaround in Q1 2013

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Polyplastics ?xml:namespace>Taiwan plans to shut its 25,000 tonne/year polyacetal (POM) resin facility at Daliao district, Kaohsiung city, in February or March 2013 for a turnaround, a company source said on Wednesday.
The exact date of the turnaround has yet to be decided, but the shutdown duration is likely to be a month, the source said.
The company is a joint venture between Polyplastics Japan and Taiwan’s Chang Chun Group, according to Polyplastics Taiwan’s website. By: Heng Hui+65 6780 4359
