LONDON (ICIS)--Saudi Arabia-based epoxy resins producer Jana plans to double its liquid epoxy resin (LER) capacity to 240,000 tonnes/year by 2017, a company source said on Wednesday.

Jana doubled its capacity from 60,000 tonnes/year to 120,000 tonnes/year in 2012. The company's plant is located in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia.

"We think there is need for continued epoxy resins expansions as this market is growing," the source said.

However, buyers said the expansion will simply make an already long market even longer.
