S Korea’s Honam Petrochemical seeks spot naphtha for H2 November

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Honam Petrochemical has issued a tender to buy spot naphtha supplies for delivery to Yeosu and/or Daesan in the second half of November, traders said on Tuesday.

The tender closes later on Tuesday, they said.

Honam Petrochemical previously bought three naphtha cargoes totalling 75,000 tonnes in the spot market for delivery to Daesan in the second half of November. The deal for the cargoes was done at a premium of $15.00/tonne (€11.55/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost and freight).
