Japan’s Prime Polymer to restart C6 MLLDPE plant on 21 October

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Prime Polymer plans to restart its C6 metallocene linear low density polyethylene (MLLDPE) plant at Chiba on 21 October following maintenance work, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.


The 300,000 tonne/year plant was taken off line on 26 September for maintenance, the source said.


Prime Polymer is a subsidiary of Mitsui Chemicals.
