LONDON (ICIS)--AkzoNobel’s supervisory board on Wednesday announced that CEO Ton Buchner is expected to fully recover from fatigue and will return to work at some time around year-end.
On 18 September, the Netherlands-headquartered coatings and specialty chemicals group said Buchner was taking a temporary leave of absence because of the medical condition.
AkzoNobel’s CFO Keith Nichols will continue to lead the company until Buchner returns, the company added.
