HOUSTON (ICIS)--US refiner Valero’s crude unit at its Meraux refinery in Louisiana is back at planned rates after a fire caused it to be shut in late July, a company spokesman said on Monday.
The crude unit at the 135,000 bbl/day refinery began the restart process on 8 October. It was previously shut down on 22 July because of a fire.
The restart was delayed because of Hurricane Isaac hitting the Louisiana coast in late August.
