Praxair China signs gas supply deal with Oxiranchem Yangzhou

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Praxair China said on Tuesday that it has signed a long-term contract with Oxiranchem Yangzhou to supply on-site industrial gases to the latter’s ethylene oxide (EO) and derivatives plants in Yangzhou of Jiangsu province.
Praxair ?xml:namespace>China will construct an air separation plant with oxygen capacity of 500 tonnes/day at Yangzhou Chemical Industry Park to supply oxygen and nitrogen for Oxiranchem Yangzhou’s 200,000 tonne/year EO and 300,000 tonne/year derivatives project located at the same park, Praxair China said.
