HOUSOTN (ICIS)--Chemetall has opened a $25m (€19.3m) US plant in Michigan that will produce over 900 products in surface treatment, metal fabrication, cleaning and sanitising, the specialty chemicals company said on Wednesday.
The 40-acre (16.2 ha) site in Blackman township includes administrative, manufacturing and warehousing operations, as well as a physical testing laboratory, said Chemetall, a division of US-headquartered Rockwood Holdings.
Chemetall provides products ranging from metalworking fluids, drawing and stamping compounds to cleaners, rust preventatives and surface treatment chemistries.
