SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PetroChina’s subsidiary Fushun Petrochemical is currently running its new 800,000 tonne/year naphtha cracker located in Fushun, Liaoning province, normally following a delayed start up on 28 September, a company official said on Thursday.
“The cracker started on 28 September and it is operating normally now,” he said.
The cracker operator had previously delayed the start-up of the new cracker to 28 September from its original schedule of 20 August, the official said in an earlier report without providing reasons for the delay.
Fushun Petrochemical also operates a 150,000 tonne/year cracker at the same site.
