China’s Daqing Petrochemical runs new CDU at full load

SINGPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Daqing Petrochemical is running its new 6m tonne/year crude distillation unit (CDU) at Daqing in Heilongjiang province at full capacity and the rate would be kept for the whole of November, a company source said on Monday.
The CDU was started up in early October and achieve on-spec gasoline and diesel products on 10 October.
The company brought off line its two other CDUs with a combined capacity of 6m tonne/year at the same site in late October, according to the source.
The two idled CDUs will be restarted when some supporting units come on stream, but no timeline is available at present, he added.By: Amy Sun+65 6780 4359
