Taiwan’s FPCC runs crackers at 90%, uses naphtha feedstock

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>Taiwan’s Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) is currently operating its Mailiao crackers at 90% capacity, traders said on Friday.
FPCC has raised the run rates to 90% since 1 November, up by 10 percentage points from October rates.
Meanwhile, FPCC is operating its three crackers solely on naphtha feedstock, they added.
FPCC operates a 700,000 tonne/year No 1 cracker, a 1.03m tonne/year No 2 cracker, and a 1.2m tonne/year No 3 cracker in Mailiao.By: Felicia Loo
