MOVES: PhosAgro CEO elected chairman of Apatit board

LONDON (ICIS)--Leading Russian phosphate producer PhosAgro on Friday announced that CEO Maxim Volkov had been elected chairman of the board at local mining subsidiary Apatit.

In addition, Mikhail Rybnikov, CEO of management company PhosAgro AG, was elected deputy chairman of Apatit’s board.

In a short statement, PhosAgro added that it will convene an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on 12 February, 2013, to discuss a range of administrative matters.

PhosAgro produces fertilizers including feed phosphate and high-grade phosphate rock as well as ammonia and nitrogen-based fertilizers.
