SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Zhongyuan Petrochemical shut its 100,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant at Puyang in Henan province on 11 November because of technical issues, a company source said on Tuesday.

The turnaround may last about 4-5 days and the exact restart date will depend on the extent of maintenance required.

The company also has a 60,000 tonne/year PP plant at the same site, which is operating at full rate.
