SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China-based Singpu Chemicals has shut its 300,000 tonne/year vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) plant located in ?xml:namespace>
The shutdown may last for 25 days and the company plans to restart the plant in early December, the source added.
The company’s 200,000 tonne/year VCM plant at the same site completed a maintenance shutdown that lasted for about 20 days in September.
