Idemitsu Kosan to shut Aichi refinery for maintenance in Oct ‘13

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan-based Idemitsu Kosan plans to shutdown its 160,000 bbl/day refinery in Aichi for scheduled maintenance in October 2013 for around 45 days, a company source said on Thursday.

Facilities at the Aichi refinery include a 160,000 bbl/day crude distillation unit (CDU), a 16,000 bbl/day vacuum distillation unit (VDU), a 50,000 bbl/day residue fluidised catalytic cracker (RFCC) and an 18,000 bbl/day naphtha reformer.
