MEDELLIN, Colombia (ICIS)--ESP Resources has signed an exclusive deal with Venezuelan-based chemical importer Tecprosol International to supply petrochemicals to oil and gas operators in South America, the US oil and gas services company said on Thursday.
The supply of chemicals is expected to exceed $5m (€3.9m) over the next 12 months, ESP said.
An initial order, worth over $500,000, will be for surfactants for cleaning plant equipment and pipelines, the company said.
The agreement is the company’s first international order, and EPS hopes to bring its other international initiatives to the same point in the near term, said David Dugas, president of EPS.
Texas-based ESP Resources manufactures, blends, distributes and markets specialty chemicals to the oil and gas industry.
The company currently offers production chemicals, drilling chemicals, waste remediation chemicals, cleaners and waste treatment chemicals.
