SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Hengli Petrochemical has shut its 2.2m tonne/year No 1 purified terephthalic acid (PTA) line in Dalian on 28 November, a company source confirmed on Friday.
"The unit will be shut for one week considering the current upstream and downstream business condition,” said the source.
Its 2.2m tonne/year No 2 PTA line at the same site is currently running at full rate, the source said.
