PetroChina Tarim Oilfield shuts 160,000 tonne/year urea plant

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's PetroChina Tarim Oilfield Co has shut its 160,000 tonne/year urea unit in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Friday, a company source said.

The company will shut the plant for three to four months because of the lack of natural gas, the source said.
