India’s MRPL sells 35,000 tonnes naphtha for 20-22 Jan loading

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has sold by tender a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo for loading in the second half of January, traders said on Tuesday.

Mitsubishi Corp was the buyer and the deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $45/tonne (€34/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board), they added.

The cargo is scheduled for loading from the New Mangalore port on 20-22 January, traders said.

In its previous tender, MPRL sold 35,000 tonne naphtha to Japanese trading firm Marubeni at a premium of $32.25/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board). The loading dates are on 28-30 December.
