HOUSTON (ICIS)--BP will perform routine maintenance on its gasoline-making fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit 1 electrostatic precipitator at its Texas City refinery in Texas, the company said in a state regulatory filing made available on Thursday.
The 400,780 bbl/day refinery reported emissions from the FCC 1 and the maintenance work will minimise emissions, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
“The opacity limit may be exceeded intermittently during the maintenance work,” the filing said.
