Italy's Eurotecnica awarded contract for melamine plant in China

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Italy's Eurotecnica has been awarded a contract for a 80,000 tonne/year single train high pressure melamine plant to be built in Xinjiang, China, the company said on Thursday.

Under the contract, Eurotecnica will supply the license, basic engineering design and proprietary equipment for the new plant, it said in a statement.

The company did not disclose further details of the contract or the timeline for the plant’s completion.
