HOUSTON (ICIS)--Stockpiles for US jet fuel declined for the week ended 21 December even as consumption rates fell, a government agency’s report showed on Wednesday.
Jet fuel inventories fell by 1.8% to 38.6m bbl, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
Meanwhile, jet fuel consumption rates were at 1.453m bbl/day, 33,000 bbl/day lower than the previous week’s rate of 1.486m bbl/day, the EIA said.
Production of US jet fuel also dropped, moving 1.6% lower to 1.488m bbl/day.
