HOUSTON (ICIS)--Jacobs has won another contract for work on Reliance’s new cracker complex at the Jamnagar refining and petrochemicals site in India’s western Gujarat state, the US-based petrochemicals engineering firm said on Tuesday.

Jacobs said that under the deal it will provide engineering and procurement services for the construction of utilities facilities for the complex.

Last month, Jacobs said it won a contract for work on the complex's planned monoethylene glycol (MEG) project.

“This latest award further reinforces our long term commitment to Reliance and the value we can deliver through our integrated teamwork,” said Jacobs group vice president Allyn Taylor. Financial details were not disclosed.

The Jamnagar complex is part of a big expansion of India-based Reliance’s petrochemical capacities at Jamnagar and other sites in India.
