SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Heavy floods in Jakarta on Thursday forced residents to flee, shut businesses and disrupted train and bus services in the Indonesian capital, according to media reports.

Four people were killed, while at least 20,000 were evacuated, according to news agency The Association Press.

The massive floods were triggered by heavy monsoon rains that inundated Jakarta overnight.
