HOUSTON (ICIS)--US refiner Valero has started a planned turnaround at its Corpus Christi refinery in Texas, a company spokesman confirmed on Friday.
The 200,000 bbl/day refinery will undergo a turnaround on its gasoline-making fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit, which is expected to last approximately six weeks.
Valero started an eight-week turnaround on the FCC at its Texas City refinery in Texas on 10 January.
