SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Zhejiang Jiahua Energy Chemical Industry shut its 380,000 tonne/year sulphur-burning plant in Zhejiang province, east China, on 20 January for maintenance, a company source said on Monday.

“The company will shut the plant for 15 days,” the source said.

The shutdown will have a limited impact on China’s sulphuric acid spot market as the plant’s capacity is small, the source added.
