HOUSTON (ICIS)--US refiner Valero has restored power after a brief outage at its Corpus Christi refinery’s west plant in Texas on Tuesday morning, a company spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday.
The 200,000 bbl/day refinery quickly restored power to normal levels, and there was no material impact to production.
The Corpus Christi refinery is currently undergoing a turnaround on its heavy oil cracker.
“The turnaround on the heavy oil cracker was not affected and remains under way,” said Valero’s spokesman Bill Day.
