S Korea’s Lotte Chemical buys 600,000 tonnes of term naphtha

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Lotte Chemical Corp has bought by tender 600,000 tonnes of term naphtha supply for delivery to Yeosu from March 2013 to February 2014, traders said on Wednesday.

The deal for the cargoes was done at a premium of $5.00/tonne (€3.75/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), they added.

Lotte previously bought 50,000 tonnes of spot naphtha for delivery to Daesan in the second half of February at a premium of $17.00/tonne to Japan quotes CFR.
