SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Luxi Chemical Group is conducting trial run at its new 250,000 tonne/year oxo-alcohols plant at Liaocheng in Shandong province, a company source said on Monday.
The company has started the trial run on the plant from the previous week. The plant would be able to produce 140,000 tonnes/year of 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH), 85,000 tonnes/year of n-butanol (NBA) unit and 25,000 tonnes/year of isobutanol (IBA), the source added.
The company plans to sell the products in the east and north China markets in early February, but the company source did not disclose the plant’s operating rates.
