HOUSTON (ICIS)--Four of Valero’s refineries will undergo turnarounds in Q1 and Q2, the US-based company said on Tuesday.
The maintenance list has three refineries in Texas, including Valero’s 200,000 bbl/day Corpus Christi refinery, its 225,000 bbl/day Texas City refinery and the 156,000 bbl/day McKee refinery.
The McKee refinery’s turnaround will begin in April on its crude unit and will last approximately five weeks.
The work at the Texas City and Corpus Christi refineries, both on the fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) units, began on 10 January and 18 January, respectively.
Refinery-wide maintenance will begin at the 265,000 bbl/day Jean Gaulin refinery in Saint-Romuald, Quebec in April. Valero said the turnaround in Quebec will last nine weeks.
The company does not disclose the specific start and end dates of its maintenance work.
