SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwanese refiner Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) has awarded a tender offering 300,000 barrels of March-loading jet kerosene, a company source said on Thursday.
The jet kerosene cargo, which is for loading from 27-31 March, was sold to Shell Singapore at Singapore market quotes plus 50-55 cents FOB Mailiao.
The tender closed on 30 January, and bids had validity until later the same day.
Previously, FPCC awarded a tender offering 300,000 barrels of jet kerosene for loading on 16-20 February to a Japanese buyer at a very strong premium of around Singapore market quotes plus $1.20-1.50/bbl FOB Mailiao, the source said.
Premiums for March cargoes have softened with a decline in Japanese demand for jet imports and the March end of the peak winter demand season for heating kerosene in northeast Asia.
