LONDON (ICIS)--European epichlorohydrin (ECH) February contract prices have rolled over, sources said on Tuesday.
The price of feedstock propylene increased by €10/tonne ($14/tonne) but this has not had much of an impact on ECH prices.
The February contract settled at €1,610-1,640/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe).
One buyer said it could not accept any increases as its demand is poor and it would be impossible to pass on anything in the current climate. It added that market conditions are very tough because demand from derivative markets is weak.
