LONDON (ICIS)--Producers of chemicals and chemical products in the Czech Republic saw flat output year on year (0.0%) in December 2012 despite a 12.5% decline during the month in the country's overall industrial production, the Czech Statistical Office (CSO) said on Wednesday.
Overall industrial production fell 5.8% from a year earlier when adjusted for the impact of less working days, the statistics office added.
Other year on year figures issued by the CSO for December included a 0.9% fall in the manufacture of rubber and plastic products, a 3.3% decline in the production of vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, a 0.2% reduction in the manufacture of furniture and a 0.1% decrease in textiles production.
