HOUSTON (ICIS)--Mexico’s Pemex Pajaritos petrochemical complex restarted its 180,000tonne/year ethylene plant at the site after programmed maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.
The reactivation started on Monday with some controlled flaring performed in accordance with safety procedures.
The ethylene plant maintenance has not affected production of polyethylene (PE) in Mexico, which is currently normal for all plants, the source said.
