MELBOURNE (ICIS)--China’s Jiangsu Lianhai Biological Technology has restarted its 100,000 tonne/year ethyl acetate (etac) plant at Nantong in Jiangsu province, a source close to the company said on Monday.
The plant was restarted on 17 February, after being taken off line on 7 February to avoid an inventory build-up over the Lunar New Year holiday, the source said.
The Lunar New Year holiday in China fell on 9-15 February in 2013.
