SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PetroChina plans to restart its 40,000 tonne/year Group I base oils plant at Nanchong in Sichuan province, southwest China, in late February, a company source said on Monday.
The company shut the plant on 28 January due to feedstock shortage.
Base oils demand is expected to increase in southwest China ahead of the traditional consumption peak in March, industry sources said.
