SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shandong Fangming has shut its 100,000 tonne/year caprolactam (capro) line at Heze city in Shandong province on 20 February for routine maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.

The company informed its end-users about the shutdown on 19 February in an email, which said the shutdown will last 20-25days.

Shandong Fangming started up the newly-built line in October 2012 and it has been operating smoothly besides an operating rate cut in January due to maintenance.
