LONDON (ICIS)--Here is Friday’s midday European oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.

CRUDE: April WTI: $93.00/bbl, up 16 cents/bbl. April BRENT: $114.30/bbl, up 77 cents/bbl
After two days of posting heavy losses, crude prices regained a little ground on some pre-weekend profit taking.

NAPHTHA: $994-996/tonne, steady
The cargo range held steady from Thursday afternoon as a result of similar crude oil prices and an unchanged crack spread. March swaps were assessed at $955-957/tonne.

BENZENE: $1,365-1,385/tonne, down $5-15/tonne
February was valued lower amid continued bearishness on Brent futures and slow derivative demand. Offers for March firmed this morning to $1,400/tonne as the Asian market saw signs of a minor recovery..

STYRENE: $1,715-1,740/tonne, down $10/tonne on the buy side
February bids edged down this morning in a quiet market for the current month.  March was in contango at $1,735-1,755/tonne and a deal was done at $1,740/tonne while April was $5/tonne higher.
