SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Sinopec Hainan Petrochemical is planning to shut its 8m tonne/year refinery at Yangpu in Hainan province on 1 July for maintenance lasting 50 days, a company source said on Wednesday.
The company earlier planned to start the maintenance in March but delayed the timetable because preparatory works had not been completed, according to the source.
The start of the shutdown may be delayed further depending on how smoothly the preparatory is finished, he added.
