Singapore (ICIS) – India’s Group I refiners were heard to have raised prices of domestic Group I base oil cargoes, according to Indian players in the market.

India Oil Corporation (IOC) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) have raised prices of SN150, SN500 and brightstock by Indian Rupees (Rs) 0.75/litre with effect from 1 March 2013.

The price hike was possibly a result of higher feedstock prices, traders said.

($1 = Rs54.37)
