South Korea’s YNCC raises February BD contract by $248/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has settled its February butadiene (BD) contract at $2,027/tonne (€1,561/tonne) pipeline DEL (delivered), up by $248/tonne from the previous month, a company source said on Tuesday.

The producer’s contract price settlement for January was at $1,779/tonne pipeline DEL.

YNCC derives its monthly contract price settlement from the average spot BD prices for that particular month.

In the week ended  22 February, BD spot prices averaged at $2,050/tonne CFR (cost & freight) northeast (NE) Asia, according to ICIS data.
