HOUSTON (ICIS)--US jet fuel inventories and consumption rates dropped for the week ended 1 March, a government agency’s report showed on Wednesday.
Jet fuel consumption was at 1.288 m bbl/day, just 1,000 bbl/day lower for the week ended 1 March, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
Stockpiles fell by 100,000 bbl to 39.7m bbl that same week.
Meanwhile, production rates gained 7,000 bbl/day, or 0.5%, to 1.403m bbl/day, the EIA said.
