SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Fujian Jinlun Petrochemical Fiber Industrial Co plans to shut its 250,000 tonne/year polyester line at Changle in Fujian province on 8 March for regular maintenance, a company source said on Thursday.
This line, which produces polyester staple fibre (PSF) as its major product, will be off line for 15 days during the maintenance, the source said.
The other 200,000 tonne/year polyester line at the same site, which was taken off line in late January, is scheduled to restart in mid-March, according to the source.
The other two lines, with a combined capacity of 200,000 tonnes/year, at the same site are currently running at full capacity, the source added.
