SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indonesia’s Justus Sakti Raya Corp plans to restart its 14,000 tonne/year maleic anhydride (MA) plant in Jakarta on 8 March, which will lift the force majeure declared on 22 February, a company source said on Thursday.
The MA plant was shut on 24 February for plant checks after the producer observed that off-spec MA was produced on 22 February, the source said.
Justus estimates that the plant will produce on-spec MA on 10-11 March after coming onstream, the source said.
The producer plans to run the MA plant at full capacity after the restart to fulfil pending shipments, the source added.
