MOSCOW (ICIS)--Russia's overall fertilizer export numbers were mixed in January 2013, the country's customs agency said Monday.
Russia's exports of nitrogen fertilizers reached 888,200 tonnes, up from 853,800 tonnes in January 2012, the Russian Federal Customs Service said. The export value was reported at $273m (210m), an increase of 6.7% year on year, it added.
Russia's exports of mixed fertilizers amounted to 1.02m tonnes, a rise of 36.1% year on year, the value of which increased by 22% to $426m.
However, the country's potash exports dropped to 242,000 tonnes from 605,000 tonnes in January 2012. The export value was reported at $94m, down from $254m last year, the Russian Federal Customs Service said.
