SINGAPORE (ICIS)--SKC Corp plans to restart its 175,000 tonne/year propylene oxide (PO)/styrene monomer (SM) plant in Ulsan, South Korea, on 28 March, a company source said on Friday.

The company shut the PO/SM plant on 1 March for maintenance lasting one month, the source added.

According to an earlier report by ICIS, the maintenance is typically scheduled once every 3-4 years for the PO/SM plant.

SKC Corp also shut its 130,000tonne/year hydrogen oxide to propylene oxide (HPPO) plant on 10 March and will restart the unit on 23 March.
