SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Petral, the trading arm of state-controlled refining firm Pertamina, bought a 950,000 bbl cargo of the Libyan crude Es Sharara via its third purchase tender for May arrival sweet crude, a company source said on Friday.
The Es Sharara purchase, which is destined for the 260,000 bbl/day Balikpapan refinery, brings the total volume of May arrival sweet crude purchased by Petral to 3.45m bbl.
In its second May arrival tender, Petral bought a 950,000 bbl cargo of Amenam. Meanwhile in its first tender, Petral bought 600,000 bbl of Tengiz and 950,000 bbl of Azeri Light, the source said.
