MOSCOW (ICIS)--Russia's overall production of chemical and petrochemical products was up year-on-year in January and February, Russian statistical agency Rosstat said on Tuesday.
In the January-February period this year, the country's total output of mineral fertilizers was up by 1.8% compared to 2012 at 2.9m tonnes, according to the agency. Ammonia output was 8.4% up year on year at 2.4m tonnes, it added.
Plastics output was 13.2% up year on year at 978,000 tonnes, the agency said. Synthetic rubber production was 9.3% up year on year at 275,000 tonnes, it added.
