SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jilin Petrochemical plans to restart its 275,000 tonne/year liner low density polyethylene (LLDPE) plant in Jilin province next week, a company source said on Thursday.
The LLDPE plant was shut on Wednesday on the back of a technical issue, the source added.
Local distributors said the supply may increase after the restart as Jilin Petrochemical is one of the major LLDPE producers.
Jilin Petrochemical is a subsidiary of state-owned oil giant PetroChina.
